Advisory Board Print E-mail

Our Duke Nursing Informatics Advisory Board consists of practicing Informatics Nurse Specialists who have their "finger on the pulse" of contemporary issues and innovations in Health Information Technology (HIT).    Duke's Nursing Informatics Advisory Board reviews curriculum and content,  and considers needed competencies for the work place.  The Advisory Board was first  convened in 2002 and met in 2003 on Duke's campus; they have worked as a "virtual" Advisory Board  since that time, using web-based technologies that students also use to complete their program
